Nakai was born and raised in Colorado. He has been working in School District 27-J as a Campus Supervisor, however, this school year he will begin teaching. Nakai graduated from CSU-Pueblo in 2022 with a BA in sociology and Spanish, and a minor in music. He is Centaurus HS and Angevine MS alum and loves doing archery, kayaking, and hiking in his free time, really anything outdoors.
