Kellie joined Rise Against Suicide in 2026 with experience in youth mental health, special education, and program management. She began her career as a Special Education Teacher and Case Manager before serving as Director of Operations for a Boulder-based emotional wellness organization, where she focused on connecting individuals to accessible, community-centered care. She brings a natural talent for building community partnerships, cultivating donor relationships, and creating systems that help people feel seen and supported.
Kellie's connection to this work is both professional and personal. Having navigated addiction and loss by suicide within her own family and community, she brings lived understanding alongside her expertise , reinforcing her belief that healing becomes possible when people are met with compassion, skilled support, and a sense of community. She was drawn to Rise's mission because of its commitment to expanding timely access to care for youth and families when it matters most.
Outside of work, you'll find her with family and friends, coffee in hand and dogs at her feet . . .happiest outdoors skiing, gardening, mountain biking, or seeing live music.
